The plyDESK is a study in the
aesthetics of physics. Cantilevered shelves allow computer
equipment to seemingly float alongside the desk, while the
100lb-rated drawers, whose faces are cut from one piece of
timber, appear to be in a sort of suspended animation. The
white pine veneer and sleek aluminum legs keep the plyDESK
looking light, belying its inherent sturdiness.
